Blue Sky brings up mixed feelings for me, because the folks were well intentioned and caring but not detailed oriented. The individual therapy was the best, and the groups were mostly of great value, depending on who facilitated. The life coaches were engaged and empathetic and totally willing to help or just sit and listen. My big reservation involved our dependence on rides to the store, appointments or to the clinic, and the Blue Sky drivers and Life Coaches were just overworked, unorganized and inconsistent. There were also some issues with medications that I needed to address again and again. There is a lack of communication from the top down. I was frustrated day after day. My plan was to stay for a three to six month treatment for mental illness and substance abuse. After 2 weeks, I made plans to move to another facility but resolved to complete one month for a smooth discharge and transfer. I could not allow a set back become the spark that ignited a relapse or psychological melt-down. I counted my blessings, cut short my stay and went to a program that's a much better fit and closer to home. I leave grateful for the efforts and intentions of the folks at Blue Sky. My recovery demanded that. Blue Sky helps many others who seem to be a much better fit. Overall, Blue Sky is a nice program, and like most such services, it's exactly what you make of it. I sought to make the best of my time there but was glad to move on.

I called this center. I stated I have insurance and I am IN CRISIS and pleading for help. They never returned my phone call. What good is a treatment center if they don’t get back to people. I guess it’s the same old CT nonsense. It comes down to who you know instead of being for anyone who’s in need. I’m also disabled and told them so.

I would definitely recommend Blue Sky to my friends, co-workers and family should they need care. I would have given 5 stars but the housing issue was not satisfactory. First it was bed bugs or another critter followed by a post infection. Then after living with 50 men they housed all new 18-26 year olds let’s just say not the same kind of living situation and finally I was moved to a single. I would think that the age difference could be addressed better. The staff, therapists and life coaches all provided excellent care in a professional and compassionate manner. I could have gone to numerous places for out patient care but I’m returning the Blue Sky and I live an hour away. It’s worth it, I spent 14 weeks in the ETP program and it has made all the difference in my life.

Love this place glad it was the choice that saint Francis hospital choose for me the staff at blue sky all the therapist and mentors were awesome easy going place nice houses u stay in for inpatient would recommend this place for anyone that is truly seeking recovery shout out to blue sky!!!!!!!!!!!
