I like the fact that the rent covers so many things, like cable and internet. This complex used to be a huge party place back when I was in college starting in 2005 which is when I first moved in here in building 79, but it’s nice now that it’s calmed down. I moved out to go to grad school and then moved back once I left grad school and moved back up here. So really, I’ve been here a really long time. I don’t foresee me going anywhere else anytime soon, this is a good place to live.

This complex is not where you want to spend your money trust me! I could go on for hours about how terrible this place is and how it ruined my first apartment but I will keep it simple. The office management is rude and uncaring, the apartments are in terrible shape upon move in, the dog poop, the time it takes to get furniture replaced is unruly, and so much more. I had broken items in my apartment that since the day I moved in that were still not fixed two years later despite the many, many requests I put in. All photos below were from my move in day to my very first apartment at the Catamount Peak Apartments and it has ruined that experience for me forever. And lastly, there are many others with experiences like mine and even worse but the bribed positive reviews will probably make you overlook those too.

I love the peaks! Their staff and maintenance people are amazing and super friendly. The environment so welcoming and it feels like home away from home!

Nice clean well lit establishment The parking lots are enormously roomie. The maintenance grew seem to be on the ball. The apartments are big with kitchens and living rooms. Most of the apartments are 3 stories tall but would have handicap accessible rooms on the lower level of the building.

This place is one of the best apartments to live at largely due to the location and prices. They have so many wonderful amenities such as high soeed internet, pool, grills, and an office open up every day of the week. The staff in the office is great and work with you on everything you need and are so helpful on one of the rare times something is wrong. The maintenance staff is quick to get jobs done and explain to you exactly what was wrong and how they fixed it. If they don’t immediately have the parts they will contact you and do everything they can to make the issue the least inconvenience to your life! I wish I would have found this place years ago before my final year here at WCU.
