I had a great experience at Dental Works. They got me scheduled quickly to address my needs. Jess, the dental assistant kept me calm the entire time. Dr Zhao was excellent. He explained everything before beginning, and kept making sure I was okay during the procedure. I highly recommend this Dental Works location. Great experience over all!

I recently moved to Sanford but still make the drive to go here. Dr. Zhao is a great dentist. He makes sure that you are comfortable through the whole process and does great work. Lisa takes care of my daughters and my cleanings. She is very friendly and we always leave feeling clean and fresh! The staff is friendly and make the whole process flow smoothly. They work seamlessly with my insurance. We've been going here for years and plan to continue doing so.

My partner and I started going to DentalWorks a year ago and were happy with the service at first. However, they switched systems recently and lost our appointments. We were not notified and when we called about our appointments the day that we were supposed to go to the dentist, we were told that our appointments (which we had confirmation numbers for) were not in their new system and that we wouldn’t be able to find an appointment until June. I asked if I could share my confirmation number for them to use for their search and was told “we don’t need it”. I do not recommend DentalWorks if you expect good customer service from folks who value your money and patronage.

I love going to this dentist every three months for a cleaning. Lisa, the hygienist that I always book an appointment with, is so nice and friendly and does an amazing job! Dr. Z is also very nice and friendly but I don’t see him as often. The entire practice is super friendly and professional and I always feel valued as a patient and like I got my money’s worth. Would highly recommend to anyone!!

Excellent staff. Jessica, the dental assistant is the most patient and compassionate! Dr. Zhao has a very calm and caring bedside manner. Best I have ever been to.

The 3 reasons I believe Dr Calvin Zhao and his staff deserve 5 stars ️ ️ ️ ️ ️ are, #1 Dr Zhao takes great pride in his work and this is evident in how he treats his patients! #2 He has great confidence in his staff and his work and this is evident in how he and his staff gets to know on a personal level each and everyone of his patients! #3 He takes time to put his patients at ease before each procedure. He does this without even appearing to be his goal. That in itself shows great love for his work and his patients!!!

I always have a great experience whenever I visit Dentalworks. Keisha at the front is always pleasant, made sure I knew my total before I went to the back and called me days before to remind me of my appointment. Lisa is the absolute best hygienist! She is very thorough, gentle and provides and overall great experience. Dr. Zhao is a wonderful dentist, he takes his time to ensure you receive the best service. He checks to make sure you are doing okay through procedures as well as walks your through exactly what he is doing. Leo the dental assistant was also very helpful while I was getting fillings on my visit. The manager Erin was super professional and jumped in to check me out as other patients were checking in. If you are looking for a quality dentist and awesome customer service I highly recommend Dental works!
