I took in several pairs of tired, worn-out Birkenstocks and just picked them up -- WOW! Doc brought them back to life....transforming them back into shoes that are ready for their second life. I wish I had taken a "before" picture of the yellow sandals; they had the biggest transformation of all!

To the individual who called enforcing a public health mask policy, “Tyranny,” I appreciate your review... It has inspired me to travel specifically to Doc’s, because he seems to care about not killing people. To Doc, thank you for being a responsible business owner.

Doc is always exceedingly polite and thorough in his work. I've taken in shoes for repairs, dye jobs, stretching and winterizing. He is reasonable in price and takes the time to discuss what he can or cannot achieve and if he feels like you can easily fix it on your own for less he'll walk you through that too! If you want a job well done look no further!

I’ve had several things repaired here over the past year. The work has been well done and at a fair price. You’re told the cost up front so you can decide if you want to invest in the repair. I’ve been very pleased.

I've never had personal experience at this shop, but heard the story on the news, so I had to check for myself. Of course the news story didn't air the clips in their entirety. In our state we do not have a statewide mask mandate, this man, as a private business owner can choose to enforce masks. Although since he is open for public accommodation, that is a slippery slope. I personally wouldn't give my business to a shop that was so tyrannical on a policy such as how one wears a mask, but thats just me. My problem is even after the customers put a mask on, the owner pitched a fit and asked them to leave anyway because he didn't like their opposition to his policy. That's called a power hungry individual ladies and gentlemen. That's enough for me to never entertain this business. A lot of people may appreciate this strict, unlawful policy enforcement, but just as many don't. Of course, you can go outside as he states, so that may be enough for some. Not for me.

I appreciate the business being willing to enforce the mask mandate and keep us all safe. During Covid, it is important we work together to prevent the spread of this virus until the pandemic has come to a conclusion. I stand with and support businesses that keep me safe. I appreciate this business for standing strong in the face of adversity. I am willing to drive from some distance to patronize a business that has an upholds the highest ethics.

Small business owner providing solid service to local customers. Doing the right thing even when its hard by not only requiring but enforcing the wearing of masks. Keep up the good work.

Caring enough to ask folks to wear a mask. Tells me this business Care's deeply for people and the quality of the work that is done for them. You will not regret taking your needs to them. I'm sure.
