Ive have experience a place like this when I was a child so I was familiar with how the process works and the staff back then were very helpful towards getting me to open up and feel comfortable and this staff was also so im confused by all the negative comments. Its not Disney land!? You were there to get help talk to a doctor and attend group therapy. I knew why I was there it seem a lot of people didnt know why they were or were in denial. There were a few cases of people trying to escape which were strange but a little entertaining lol. I myself had a room mate wasnt mentally stable and tried to get me to help with a whole escape plan using me as bait!? The staff was very professional in trying to both take control of the situation as well as making me feel safe and we all had a good laugh. Mr. Shawn woke us up with a \good morning song\ before breakfast Stand up guy, Danielle kept us all in line and easy on the eyes, and Nurse Susan made sure we all got proper meds explaining the use of meds and was very helpful. You have to DO YOUR WORK no one can help you live a better drug -free, depressed- free, drama -free life but YOU! So Complain less and LISTEN MORE. Did not help patients when they had caught deseases in the facility. I caught corona from another patient. I told them multiple times I had sore throat and they only supplied cough drops which soothed for 10 minutes. They never got me tested or put on medication because they are irresponsible. When I left out my sore throat went away and I thought it was just an AC problem. Then I noticed I could not taste or smell anything. I took cold medicine and felt better. The next day I went to get corona test and it turned out positive. This is the facility fault. I asked them multiple times to move my stay away from his room too many times.

do NOT let anyone you love be sent here. I was here for 6 days, after being told I would only be there for 3 by the doctor. You talk to specialist for less than 3 minutes a day, if that. Otherwise, you’re left sitting around with nothing to do, or in group that feels like secular Vacation Bible School. Some sweet nurses and workers, but some were very rude and need to find a new profession. I felt very unimportant and like a prisoner during my stay. The food was also horrible, and my unit barely even ate because of it. This place needs fundamental change or to be put out of business. It is causing more harm than good at the state it’s at.
