I have been to this Medical Center 3 times in the past few weeks. Super fast testing but I also had 3 family members receive medical help on different occasions and every doctor was very through, caring and on top of everything. Excellent testing done. They don't just take your vitals and send you home. They did blood work, chest scans, heart scans. Communicated very well to patients in diagnosis as well. Fabulous care. And very clean facility! The front desk staff is very pleasant as well.

I have to say excluding the wait time, I feel this has been one of the better mental health facilities I've come across. So far I'm happy with the assistance they've provided my child. I would send someone here before any other local location.

Throughout the day everything was was explained to me and after the procedure the nurses kept checking in on me. I hope I don't have to visit there again, but I was very comfortable in their care while at the Fresno Heart Hospital.

Awesome nursing staff. Very attentive. Had a very good doc who listened with even eye contact. And not racing to get you out the door. I liked alot of staff are too in recovery and know exactly what patients are dealing with. Laid back but with good structure too. I was only in 5 maybe 6 days. This stay taught me more and I got out of it a lot more than other place I have been in. And have many many other places through the years. If needed , despite the distance I would go to Meadow Wood first choice.

I was in the adolescent program in November of 2019, and it was a really terrible experience. I was admitted due to mental health issues, but there was no treatment within the hospital. Everyday we would be woken up, fed bad food (they did not consider my dietary needs, and I was served plain iceberg lettuce as my vegetarian meal for MULTIPLE meals over multiple days), and then we had group for the rest of the day. Group was not therapy, it was just us sitting in a room with a nurse. I was once put in a group room for 5 hours and we literally did nothing, and they were very difficult about letting us use the phone in this room. Many of the other patients were very violent. Multiple fights broke out between patients, and they would commonly argue with the nurses. As someone who is not violent, it was TERRIFYING to be in there because I had no way to defend myself, and the nurses often didn't intervene in time. They were extremely understaffed, and most of the nurses were unhelpful or rude. It took me 5 days to even see the doctor, and at that point the treatment I had was so terrible I made my mom come and force them to discharge me because I did not feel safe in the hospital. Also one of the \therapists\ or main person that would be in charge of group was extremely, extremely homophobic and transphobic. I went here once before in 2014 and the program was totally different. Do not send your child here for mental health treatment.
