This is a great place for kids and adults alike. Look for public stargazing nights each third Friday of the month to get a peek through some great telescopes. Each event usually has a speaker discussing topics for beginners and astronomy experts. They teach classes for the neighboring school, and are a great opportunity to volunteer for an educational cause. I've met nothing but friendly folks since discovering the Observatory. Two big thumbs up!

Amazing observatory run by amazing volunteers. We showed up with 10 kids and they had a great time looking through the telescopes and learning about constellations. We look forward to returning and highly recommend visiting!
