You can get an HVAC system upgrade with O'Brien and they offer special no interest loans on the finest new, variable speed systems. The difference between these new systems and the old are remarkable. It can be considered a real home improvement and worth the investment. O'Brien will also roll in a 10/12 year, no worry parts and labor warranty that you know will be backed up because this is a reputable company. Very professional, very thorough. I highly recommend O'Brien.

Obrien installed a 16 SEER unit with the control wires exposed to the weather (see photos). When I called Obrien, I was told that that unit was not furnished with a cover plate. I was left to protect the wiring by myself. Unacceptable. Attempts to reach Trane directly failed.

I’ve been fighting a no heat problem on and off for 3 months. The previous service company I used came multiple times and told me that they couldn’t find a leak in my system even though the Freon level kept dropping. They even changed a valve on the compressor that they claim mimics the loss of Freon. I called O’Brien after reading their reviews and I should have done it sooner. From the initial call for service (the technician Jim arrived in 4 hours) the experience has been exceptional. Jim explained how the system worked and the likely causes of the problem. In less than 30 mins, Jim located the leak in the coil in the air handler. A part had to be ordered and 2 days later, Jim was back and completed the repair - outstanding! Everyone at O’Brien was professional, courteous and efficient. These qualities are so very hard to find these days. I will continue to use their services and will refer anyone that I hear needs their services.

When it was time to start the somewhat painful task of getting quotes for a replacement heat pump, I asked the advice of someone in the business. One of the recommendations was O’Brien, due to their longevity and positive reputation in the area. They weren’t on my list initially, but I called them anyway—and I’m glad I did. At every step in the process (with Tom in sales, as well as Kyle, Caleb, Matt C, Mike B, Bryan S, and Stephen in installation), I was treated professionally and with the highest level of customer service. These folks just plain get it. O'Brien treats you like every future sale depends on your satisfaction, and the result is a lot of 5 star reviews and customers who will continue coming back in the future. It’s a shame they don’t work on cars!
