I looked all over town for a specific snowboard binding setup, and was referred to Salty Peaks. I was impressed by the size of the store and the huge inventory of snowboard equipment. I'd never seen such a wonderland! Kudos to the owner for having a young staff who actually knows their stuff, is attentive, friendly, and responsible. That is so rare to find, especially in a snowboard/skate shop. I have to admit that I inadvertently put them through the paces, but they came through with the binding setup I wanted, and they taught me a lot about the technology of my new bindings and boots. There was an issue with my old snowboard, so I came back in and I was given some great guidance. There was no aggressive sales. They just gave me honest information. Needless to say, I walked out with a new snowboard. I'm so jealous I don't live in Salt Lake City because we have nothing even remotely close to this where I live in terms of inventory, service, knowledge, or kids who actually know how to treat customers. They were also super accommodating to me. Note: They accept cash and debit cards. They will accept credit cards, but they do charge a 3% fee for MC and Visa or 4% for Amex.

I have been to seriously more than a handful of snowboard/ski shops all over this valley. Salty Peaks is HANDS DOWN THE BEST!!! Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Highest quality of literally everything. I have purchased both my boards, goggles, gloves, thermals, bibs, other pants....the list goes on. If you want to support a local business...this is THE best one.

This store has been around a long time for a reason - they all know the gear, the sports, the area! Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful without pushing anything on us. And the museum was just a bonus - so interesting to see how far snowboarding has come! Highly recommend!

This is not only the best Snowboard and Skate shopping experience, but perhaps the best shopping experience period. Salty Peaks and the owner Dennis take every customer request and question very serious and make your experience there very special. The knowledge the staff has on their products is unparalleled, the care they take of their customers is superior to any retail store I've shopped and the hospitality they all showed me was outstanding. Anyone requiring expert advise, unrivaled service and customer care regarding your snowboarding and / or skateboard needs - this should be your first and last stop. Thanks for everything Dennis!

Good shop with a great selection and very knowledgeable staff. I would recommend taking detailed photos of any boards you rent because they will charge you very minor scratches. I’m 99% sure I never once rode over anything that would have scratched the base but they wanted 10 to cover it. It’s a rental board and some signs of wear are to be expected IMO.

This place is one of the last skate shops who sell Lib Tech Skateboards! They are a must- but pricey but worth it. I’ve skated the same deck for over 4-years. I highly recommend. Also the staff at salty peaks are helpful. I’m in NJ and they made sure I got my deck and setup safe. Highly recommend!

This place is FANTASTIC! A well-oiled machine run by staff who want to help you find what best suits you, not sell you things you don't need. So happy that I went here, and very highly recommend it to anyone who needs any type of snowboard gear. I went in wanting to look at pants and boots and left with pants, boots and mittens that I am super stoked about. Thanks for the thoughtful help in picking out boots, 10/10 would recommend this spot over any other in the area.

Thank You to Salty Peaks and Dennis for helping my Dad with retro fitting and fixing his K2 Snowboard Clicker boots. He rode them today and told me they were legit. And to Dennis, my Dad enjoyed walking the “dog” with his new snowboard leash, it worked perfectly. Major thumbs up to Salty Peaks and their services. Definitely will be there later on this week.
