First, I would like to start by saying the star I gave the company is for Jessica (here are the rest for you Jessica ️ ️ ️ ️ ) at the front office was very kind to me during this ordeal that I went through with Venice Pines. I am not one to write reviews normally regardless of if I was treated well or poorly. I do however feel very strongly over an issue that I feel Venice Pines needs to resolve. My dog has been brought to Venice Pines since 2017. Throughout the past 3 years I have spent more than 2,500, between surgery and vaccines and her normal blood tests. What I am completely upset about is the fact that when they wanted to do an X-ray (one) of her bladder (which was fine) But I wasn’t charged for one X-ray. I was charged for 1-3 X-rays at a price of 189.00. So basically if I brought a dog there that had 1 X-ray and someone else brought their dog who needed 3 X-rays we would be charged the same price???!!! How is that fair??? I myself have worked in the veterinary industry and know there is a lot more work that goes into 3 X-rays vs 1 X-ray . When I spoke to the office manager regarding my concerns, I was lied to, and was told there was an issue with the chart and she would have to call me back, when really it was the doctor calling the person I coparent my dog with to let them know “I was yelling at them and that we were going to have to go else where.” I feel that after spending over 2500 at a place of business they could at least give me a break and not charge me for 2 X-rays that WERE NOT DONE. Their needs to change for the future clientele that go there.especially since the majority of the clients are possibly elderly and just want to take care of their animals and don’t question what exactly is being done and why. I am in no way saying that the doctor is a bad doctor or anything like that, just wanting to make people aware of the unjust pricing going on.

My family has used Venice Pines Veterinary for our pets since 2004 and they have always gone above and beyond expectations. They are truly full service with annual check ups and shots to boarding and bathing services. They're equipped to mend bones and other injuries and they have a lot of food and dietary needs. They put my 16lb cat on a dry food that helped her lose weight and be healthier! They can even deal with the little Siamese pisspot in the picture I have included!
