I hired this company with a quote of 300 to install a whole home humidifier that I furnished. They sent their technician out. He arrived at 0922 an hour and a half late. I explained that I worked nights and needed the earliest appointment. They assured me that the technician would be at my home by 0830 at the latest. The technician proceeds to tell me that they will be charging an extra 172 for 2 ft of 1/4” copper pipe and maybe 4ft bypass ductwork. I told him that isn’t the agreed upon price and the technician insisted that they said additional cost for additional supplies. I told him that was not said and I would not be paying more than the 300. If they weren’t going to stand by their word then get out of my house so I could go to bed. He gathered his stuff and left. I explicitly explained that I had the humidifier only and they may need additional stuff to install. But the woman I spoke with never stated anything about possible additional charges. Not to mention 172 for something that would cost me 20 maybe 30 at Lowe’s. You done lost your damn mind. Don’t show up expecting more money and accuse the customer of mishearing the agreement.

As soon as I noticed my heater stopped working. I immediately called Southern Pride Service and the receptionist Lindsay very professional was concerned tried to trouble shoot my issue and told me a technician had to come out and check my system. She immediately told me the technician would be at my house in the pm. They are very responsive. They then sent me an email confirmation letting me know Kenny the technician was on his way. Kenny was very professional and very knowledgeable and did an awesome job and let me know what was going on with my heating system and provided me with further recommendations to increase the lifespan of my heater system! I highly encourage this company and highly encourage to put a maintenance fee for your heating system!!! Awesome company!! Excellent customer service!! Customer satisfaction guaranteed!!
