While I don't usually write reviews, I would like to make an exception to give a shout out to the awesome folks at the Sycamores. It has always been such a great pleasure to stop by the leasing office and have wonderful conversations with Brenda, she is thoughtful, competent and diligent, in addition to having the warm, welcoming and caring personality, and was always able to take care of any issues I had. Between Brenda and the awesome maintenance guys I was very well taken care of and they made the experience of leasing at the Sycamores absolutely exceptional.

Our leasing agent, Brenda Bonano, has been exceptional to deal with here at The Sycamores. I've lived here over 4 years and, from initial lease signing to moving to a larger apartment to addressing issues, Ms. Bonano has been responsive, considerate, and an advocate for both the tenant and the complex every time. Brenda is a consummate professional in all she does, she's kind, and she makes it look easy! Living here is, overall, a fairly good experience. I wish we had a pool, but other than that, the neighbors are friendly, most of us dog owners make a clear effort to clean up after our pets, and it's fairly quiet (there are occasional disturbances, but they're not hard to deal with). We have one of the lowest rent rates in the area and it's walking distance to numerous amenities. And the maintenance guys are superb, period. The apartments were built in the '60s, so they aren't pristine. But they tend to be clean and maintained and any issues I've had have been addressed very promptly and completely. Thanks to everyone on staff for making things easier on us, with a big shout out to Brenda B.

I was looking for an apartment in Reston area and I love the service provided by Brenda Bonano she took me for a Tour on a 2 bedroom apartment and I love it!!! She really did an amazing Job. I loved the Location. 100 % recommended.

Worst place to leave. Management don't pick up calls or return one even in an emergency situations. Floor barrier too thin and shaky.

After a year at The Sycamores I am leaving because my family is expanding and we need to be closer to work. Had that not been the case I would have definitely renewed my lease. The location is terrific - right next to the RTC, no more than 400 feet to a Reston Association walking trail that leads to many others, including Lake Anne, and a 20 minute walk to the Wiehle-Reston metro. Driving distance is short for all the life necessities like food shopping, outdoors, and fun activities. A very special, enormous thank you and shout out to Brenda. From Day 1 she has been super responsive (I had a small part break in my heating unit, e.g.), she has always returned my voice mails, and I know I can trust her to get things right the first time when answering my questions or helping me navigate unclear features of the apartment payment portal. She is tremendous and I can't thank her enough!

Great Service and Staff! We enjoyed living there left in April 2019. We had great neighbors treat us like family everyone looked out for each other. Thank you Brenda Bonano she is property manager you are awesome!

Safety is a growing concern... Over the past few weeks at least 3 cars have been broken into. And now there’s a homeless man sleeping on the steps of multiple buildings. Management has been notified on SEVERAL occasions and has failed to act EACH time. Management has NOT notified the complex or taken ANY action. Such a shame...Apts are nice and conveniently located. Old management was MUCH better. New folks just don’t seem to care.

Management at the Sycamores consistently fails to meet expectations. The most recent disappointment is the office will be closed on Saturdays throughout the entire holiday season. This is terribly inconvenient for those who work very long hours during the week (to pay our bills) and rely on the weekend to speak with management and/or pick up packages from loved ones. Unfortunately, this has been the theme since new management took over (6 months now?). They have repeatedly demonstrated that they do not care about the renter, do not care to be available for us, or care about our safety. Management promised a “newsletter” with all pertinent information, but nothing has materialized. I only found out about the Saturday closings when I greeted the “office is closed” sign this past Saturday. I do not believe management cares at all about the renter and I am certain they look at me only as a paycheck.
