Overall Z Place is a great place to live. The staff are friendly and helpful and the apartments are spacious and stylish. The appliances in our apartment are a bit older and sometimes malfunction, but generally we can get them repaired quickly. I do wish that the walls between bedrooms were a bit thicker but also provided more circulation as I feel we don’t get a ton of privacy or heating/cooling from the common areas. I also wish we could open the windows a bit more. Other than that, there is a lot of storage space and the location is great, so I’d definitely recommend it.

Such expensive lease, but when several floors of the building is out of internet, it’s not treated as an emergency. Keep in mind this is during a lockdown, students depend on the internet to attend meetings, submit homework, submit applications and take exams. I called their “emergency number” but all their employee did was file a work order that they might get to next Monday. Am I asking too much for someone to take a look at the network outage quickly? Update: it has been 6 days since I reported the internet is down. I filed two more emergency requests since this review was initially posted. Nobody’s taken a look at it yet. The new management team clearly couldn’t care less about customer support.
I am a current resident at Z Place Apartments and my experience here has been incredible. Yes, the building has nice amenities and I love my apartment but if there is one person who truly makes this place how amazing it is, it's Rachel Matthews. She is here when I walk in at 7 am and still here past everyone else at 6 pm. She works tirelessly to make sure every resident has a good experience and goes out of her way to ensure that. I had a bad experience with one of my roommates and she helped all of us reach a positive conclusion and has not only been there for me but all of my roommates - as I am sure is the case with all of the residents. No amount of praise is enough to justify how wonderful of a person she is and she makes my experience of living here a great one. In fact, she is one of the reasons behind why I decided to renew my lease and stay here for another year. I aspire to be as dedicated of an employee as she is when I go out into the world for my full-time career. I hope that everyone has the honor of interacting with Rachel at some point in their life because she really leaves you feeling positive and amazing, in addition to being there for you however she can.
Lived here for a year, the 2B with sharing units were deceiving when we saw the apartment. The beds were flimsy and almost came apart during our stay - a life hazard. Management did not do anything about it after repeatedly asking. Go to any other apartment complex, not worth the rent. Even though the staff was sweet, the management did not take action. All of my roommates had a terrible experience becuase of this.
I was a resident at Z Place when the whole transfer of property owners to landmark properties took place. With this transfer came many issues that myself and others have had to deal with and the service provided by the employees in the front office especially have been wonderful. They are prompt with their problem solving and transparent with their tenants. Specifically in my experience, I appreciate Rachel Matthews for helping me throughout the school year. I would recommend to anyone to consider living here.
