So many irresponsible, uncaring CNA's. So many deaths.

Not sure what Angela is talking about, and her review is so unfair. My dear friend age 60 arrived there with a stroke just one month ago. He is very ill with limited resources, but, they care for him well, and are kind and considerate people. No, it’s not a glamorous home, but, it’s clean, and the patients are well cared for. My mom was in one of those fancy homes. She received excellent care, but, her out of pocket bill was 240,000 for a little less then 2 years. If you don’t have the resources, believe me, the care here is just fine. They have improved greatly over the years!

The place smells horrible and the rooms are tremendously dirty. Our son is always texting us to call the nurses there because they don’t answer the call bell. You have to have a heart of compassion and love for people that are in need because they physically cant do it for themselves and if you can’t do it that way then please don’t work in this profession. I don’t recommend this place for loved ones. We’re gonna try and see what are our other option of care for our son.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is horrific in their treatment of both patients and their families. My aunt had staples removed from her head, that resulted in some blood dripping down after the fact. Several days later, the blood was still there. Finally, after a week's time and asking more than once that she be cleaned, we had to ask for supplies to do it ourselves. Her right side was completely paralyzed, yet they would put her cup of water on the right side of her; she literally guzzled water every time we came to visit and offered her a drink. It was heartbreaking to see the level of neglect she suffered there. We decided to take her out after seeing this, and they gave us the hardest time, using unfounded, false information to threaten and scare us. Thank goodness for other healthcare professionals that helped us navigate our way out of there! We've also filed a complaint through the state - it was that bad.

This was an extraordinary place to care for your loved ones. The care was exceptional and the nurses, aides and financial office was exceptional and met our needs. Jenn the supervisor of the 5 th floor was a good listener and bent over backwards to met my needs as well. It was the first time having to encounter a new home and it was a wonderful fit. Thanks to all the staff and may you keep the up beat personality of the nursing home.
