I have two sons who moved in quite some time ago. I visited a few times and actually liked the place. With a COVID alert and lost jobs, they admittedly didn’t pay their rent but at least spoke to the people there. I should have called but let it unfold. They were evicted last month, being one month before they wouldn’t be allowed to do so. Instead, they gave a deadline with full knowledge of what was getting ready to happen. I knew and I’m not in real estate. I wanted to let my kids deal with it and pay it off as they could. It didn’t happen. At 25 and 21, they are now at home with their mother. They’re fortunate she’s able to handle the situation like always, being 30 minutes away. Shame on you folks!

I lived here for 2 years and have nothing but positive things to say about the people here. The leasing office (especially Mark) and all of the maintenance guys were so great and helpful. We lived in an older apartment but our maintenance issues were minimal and resolved so quickly. I only moved out because I received a job offer in a different state.
My fiancé and I have been living here for about 5 months now and we love living here! It’s close to everything, all the staff are welcoming and helping, and they keep up with the grounds/pool maintenances well! Will be definitely renewing our lease here once the time comes!
Me and my boyfriend have lived here for almost 9 months and it’s been a good experience! No bugs which is great and it’s a quiet community. If you do decide to live here I would try to get one of the renovated apartments, we live in one of the older lofts and the rents a bit high for what you get. The maintenance staff is super nice and responds very quickly. Sometimes there’s cigarette butts on the stairways and around the apartment building and the laundry room can be messy but the gym is nice and they recently installed TVs in there. The office staff is also super nice, I forgot my gym key one day and one of them saw me and let me in so I didn’t have to walk all the way back to my apartment. There’s also a restaurant and bus stop within walking distance which is nice. The location is great and you’re pretty close to everything. Overall this is one of the better apartment complexes and a great place to live!
I have been living in the Hawthorne at New Centre for a few months now and I have nothing but positive things to say. The maintenance crew and front office is filled with good, hard working people. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a comfortable and good priced apartment.
