MOM UNRESPONSIVE - family not notified. Initially my impression was very good. A few nurses I saw interact with mom were fantastic. I felt comfortable leaving her there. I called to tell them I was coming to see her for dinner. I got no answer 3 times when I tried to call. When I arrived she was not there. The nurse (or aid) told me she had to send her out. She said she was lively one minute and then unresponsive. She was sent to ER an hour ago. NO BODY CALLED ME or any family which meant my 91 year old mom was in ER alone and had been unresponsive. This was a very bad situation. I've tried several times unsuccessfully to speak with a supervisor, director of nursing or director of building about this issue. They are in meeting or not there today (both excuses on the same day) I've left messages and also been transferred to extensions that just ring with no answer. I've also been told her O2 tank was empty on one occasion and there is great chance she was not given her medication properly

Walpole Healthcare injured my mother three times until her life expired. While she was bed ridden from injuries they claimed she was not doing her therapeutic exercises so they got the insurance not to cover any part of her Hospital induced injury stay and they are making us pay 100,000.00. This is the definition of a terrible company. Don't bring your parent to this facility.

If you truly love your loved one, don't send them here. Awful, awful care. We took my grandmother out after being hospitalized for lack of oxygen (thanks to her concentrator or portable tank which was almost always empty) and had to be moved back because her new rehabilitation center did not have the intensive therapy that she needed to help her walk again. Even after going to social workers and managers, and being hospitalized, we have found her concentrator off or empty, multiple times, once again. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I was sent to this facility to rehab following hip replacement surgery. I don't believe individuals under 70 would be comfortable here. To start with they did not have the proper bathroom facilities to fit my rehab needs. It was not properly handicap fitted. After arrival I was in the bed that the EMT folks placed me in. As the bed was not fitted out with the equipment I needed they decide to move me from the bed until they could install the equipment. Two Aides tried to assist me into a wheel chair by grabbing and lifting my legs without even realizing I had just had a total hip replacement and that was the last thing they should have been doing! The 1st and 3rd shifts head nurses and nursing assistants were responsive but he 2nd shift was atrocious. Finally I must add that the food is probably better in a prison than is this facility. Over half the meals were inedible. The Physical Training and Occupational Training staffs were excellent. They were knowledgeable and had positive attitudes.
