DO NOT LIVE HERE. They will charge you for 12 months of rent even though you only live there for 11. WAY overpriced, terrible management. The fees to pay online are astronomical. Not even that nice for what you're paying for. Cannot stress enough, find somewhere else so they stop gauging people for money.

Pretty good while undergrad at RPI which is not where it says but in Troy, its named after the county, not the town. And pronounce it right. Catch the great collection of Victorian houses, the view of the river from a few streets East, and a baseball game.

Nice rooms and amenities but they rob you with their rental rates. I lived here for one year with three roommates and each of us paid 760 per month for a 4-bedroom apartment, making the apartment effectively 3,040 a month to live at the edge of downtown Troy, which isn't the best neighborhood. Rent also increases each year. One positive aspect is that all amenities are included. The 760 per person price includes water, electricity, internet, gym access, lounge and study room use, etc. Staff would enter rooms to \check fire alarms\ without 24 hours notice which I believe is illegal in New York State. This probably happened to our room at least four times in 11 months, sometimes when no one was home. Also not allowed to have candles or any pets which makes the complex seem more like an upscale college dorm. Luckily the management I had when I lived there was good, but switched 3-4 times within the year which I found odd. I left my room in pristine condition when I moved out and only received 2/3 of my security deposit back. When I asked about it, they told me 1/3 of it was nonrefundable and was \listed in the lease.\ This is an okay place to live if you are new to the Albany area and don't know anyone going into grad school, but I've found it's best to leave after the first year once you know your way around Troy to save yourself money.

I'm paying 840 to share a 4 bedroom with 4 strangers and share a kitchen, RPI forces us to live here!! not knowing i could get my own private 1 bedroom apartment for myself block away with parking for 750 look around you don't need to be at city station!!

Solid Eh. I am apparently the first adult living here from the amount of grime everywhere. Does anyone else know how to dust? Vacuum? Take the lint out of the dryer? I mean GEEZE.
